Introduction
Started along with the introduction of B.Tech course in CS in 1985, this laboratory was then known as PC Lab. Along with the discipline of Computer Science, the laboratory has also evolved a lot in the last two decades. This lab caters to egular laboratory and project requirements of B.Tech students of the department. The desktops of the laboratory are installed with some flavor of GNU-Linux based Operating Systems while the servers are running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES Release 4. The server - Athena is maintained by the final year students of B.Tech.
